The Howl on The Scene

Riveting guitars, driving rhythms, bleeding vocals, heavy on the heart lyrics- this is The Howl. The Chicago rock/  punk/ garage/ experimental quartet released their debut EP, “900 Feet Beneath,” this past September 2012, and have been performing non-stop since; including endless house shows and venues such as Subterranean, Township, and Martyr’s.

Bandmates Sam Porter, Ryan Grillaert, and John Garrison came to hang out with the Scene and talk about The Howl‘s plans of a summer tour across the Midwest, while continuing to write music, play shows, and revitalize that in-your-face rock in Chicago’s music scene.

Check out The Howl this Friday, February 22nd, 5:30pm at Township (2200 N. California Ave), along side Lakota De Kai, Motives, and Believe You Me.
