Iceland Airwaves Day Five (11/9): VAR, Ghostigital Review

Going to the Blue Lagoon yesterday was by far one of the coolest things I have ever done. Yes, the lagoon may not have been the most sanitary place in the entire world but being able to sit in a hot spring after the last few days was amazing.

The first band we saw as a group was VAR. This band wasn’t the most exciting band but the show they put on was great. They had an amazing balance between the lead female singer and the lead male singer. They just had a very chill sound that was easy to enjoy and get lost in.

After VAR it was time for Ghostigital, a rap/electronic band. This band was the complete opposite of VAR as well: they were fun, exciting, and made everybody dance. They were absolutely the right band to close out Iceland Airwaves 2014.
