ICELAND AIRWAVES DAY FIVE (11/09/14): THE BLUE LAGOON (REVIEW)

The Blue Lagoon

After staying out all night and not getting any sleep for the third time in row, I personally had no idea where our teacher was taking us for our surprise in Iceland. Once at the bus station, we were all told about the Blue Lagoon. Personally I had no idea what this place was, as I never looked it up. It was one of the most relaxing experiences of my life. Silica mud masks, waterfall massage and a sauna/ steam room. Stepping into the Blue Lagoon Sunday morning, was one experience I will never forget. Taking a trip to Iceland is worth every penny, especially during Iceland Airwaves. Outside of the festival the Blue Lagoon takes the cake for the coolest culture experience in the world.
