Look at your cell phone of course!
The Black Eyed Peas recently performed their new single “Don’t Stop The Party” on a French TV show. During the performance, Will.I.Am of the Black Eyed Peas realized that he didn’t know the lyrics. In order to avoid an awkward moment, he took out this cell phone so he could perform his part of the song. Although he didn’t completely avoid an awkward moment because looking down at your cell phone when performing is extremely awkward but it could’ve been worse. It’s hard to not be distracted by Will.I.Am trying to play it cool and not make it obvious that he is looking at his phone.
The performance went on and when Fergie appeared on stage, she referred to an iPad to remember her part of the song. I’m kidding, that didn’t really happen but would have been fitting. All of the other members of the Black Eyed Peas remembered their parts and didn’t have to rely on technology to remember their verses. “Don’t Stop The Party” is the third single from their album The Beginning.
Maybe Will.I.Am just had a very important text message…
